Yoram L. Cohen, Ashlagi, Eshel represented E.E.R. Environmental Energy Resources (Israel) Ltd. (EER) on a recent investment agreement, pursuant to which EER will raise approximately US$4.5 million from certain current shareholders, at a company valuation of US$80 million. EER provides advanced plasma-based technological solutions for solid waste treatment. ERR’s technology was developed by leading Russian and Israeli scientists. The company is currently completing the final stages of construction of a solid waste treatment demonstration plant that will employ EER technology for solid waste disposal. Additionally, Urdan Industries, which holds 20% of EER, recently announced that the Ukrainian government has agreed that it will use EER technology for the construction of a number of radioactive waste treatment facilities in the Ukraine.
